Just look at the photos posted and you've seen it all. A lake, some boats, some shops selling knick knacks - that's all. Quite a long drive just for this. Precious time in Munnar can be better spent at other spots. Now we know.

Just do not go there during vacations and long weekends, this place gets crowded and crazy traffic blocks when people try to cross the narrow dam from both directions.

Boating charges are 500/- for 15 minutes. I would suggest to go for boating at the Echo Point than at the first boating point, since that place looks more serene..
