We saw Kathakali performance and martial arts. Kathakali was a good performance but slow for us and kids. Martial arts was Mind blowing. These 2 shows have same scripts and are available for viewing in most tourist places. Definitely recommended for at least one time. Price was Rs 200 per activity per person

Absolutely brilliant Kathakali performance followed by Martial Art. Please prefer to be there at least one hour before the performance so that you can select your seats and experience their make up also.Dancers are so much lively that they will choose some people from audience and communicate with them in their style. It was really appreciable the way they are... More

If in Munnar one shouldn't miss the shows here especially The traditional Marital Art. The Kathakali dance is also good but that's something I have seen before but Kerala's traditional marital art was a new thing. My 6 year old son also loved the performances. I wish we have more awareness about Kalaripayattu. It's a beautiful art form that should... More

We saw both Kathakali and martial arts show. Both were very good shows. Try to get front seats for kathakali show to be able to see the expressions well. If you are in the front seat you might be called on stage too for a demo. It was nice to experience this part of Kerala's culture. It is a must.

There are very few places which will tell you about authentic art form of that area. Kalari is core to Kerala and we couldn't miss this show. The artists are well trained and as show progresses, they grip your interest. To see such things live has a different effect and My wife decided to go all over again.
