The best way to see animals here is to stay at the sanctuary. We took an evening trek and an early morning trek in the sanctuary with two guides. Saw a lot of animals... giant grizzly squirrel, Peacocks, deer, Bison, elephants, Cock-head serpent eagle etc....More

This is a great place to visit. and spend sometime here. This time when we visited here, this sanctuary was closed. This will remain close till 1st April So please don't waste time to explore this

i am not sure. its very hot in may. so better avoid
We would like to visit Chinnar next February and want to book accommodation in the wildlife sanctuary. Are there any huts with toilet facilities and how can we book. Thank you, Christine

Better stay at Kanthalloor, known for organic farming. Many people cultivate apple, grapes, strawberry etc here. The journey from Kanthallor to Chinnar will be a soothing experience for you. Please inbox if you need more info
