Adventurous place!!!

It was a very thrilling and adventurous place to visit in Munnar. It was raining heavily when we went there.

We went to the wildlife park in the afternoon (around 2pm). It took around an hour and a half to reach from Munnar Town by taxi. If you get motion sickness, sit at the front of the taxi for the ride as the roads to Chinnar are incredibly narrow and windy. When we arrived, we were informed that we could... More

Chinnar is a very hilly and arid reserve but with many trees, December is not the best time to visit because the rainy season is some time back and most wildlife has moved on (we saw recent elephant dung but not elephants!) so we didn't see many animals but we had a lovely guided walk and enjoyed the scenery. As I entered inside, I could hear sounds of wild animals. I was frightened but there was no escape. I went through some of... More

The drive from Munnar to Chinnar is awesome.. drive through the misty clouds takes you to another world. Unfortunately we could not go to watch tower or trek as we didn't plan one day stay at Chinnar. One of the advise will be to please plan one day stay there to experience the beauty of Chinnar.
