Wagha border is a most excited place to be visited in amritsar.it is far away round about 35 kilometer from amritsar city.Its a quiet interest place to visit,here their is retreat ceremony occur at 4:00 pm.

The pre parade starts around 5..main parade starts at 5:30 pm. reach at least by 3:30 as there are huge crowds and there may not be seating for all especially during weekends. Carry caps as it is very hot. No bags allowed

It is bit of a risk carrying your things around to waggah. There are shops on the way that would check-in your bags on your risk. So it is not advised to carry your luggage to the border.
