The historic place is related with massacre of 13 april 1919 when General Dyer ordered the gurkha troops for shootout on a large crowd of innocent people. Estimated 379 people were killed in that shoot out. The place kept the grief and cruelty of that incident. The bullet marks are kept as history here. The well where many people jumped... More

Great place to rediscover and remember what happened during British rule. As a monument it's good. Bullet marks still exist.
