This is one of the few bird sanctuaries in our country. The only advice is to reach there early in the morning to avoid long queues over weekend. An early arrival would also ensure good bicycles for you. get your bicycle and start venturing out...More

This park is has a wonderful range of birds, many of which migrate there just for winter, where it is warm in India, located between Agra and Jaipur (although closer to Agra). Very uniquely in India, the price list of the entrance is adhered to...More

Even if you are not a bird watcher by nature, a day (or 2) spent in the sanctuary is absolutely amazing and was one of the highlights of our trip to India. The first day we hired a "tuk tuk" and found that we did...More

We just walked along the road to the centre of the park and back. It was so relaxing and we could take in the birds and the wetland at our own pace. It would have been different with a guide and sure we would have...More

it depends. If you are a bird watching freak , you will love to spend longer hours. For general tourist 3 to 4 hours should be enough to cover the park. April being hot month you should try late afternoon or early morning.

Hey, I wish to visit this weekend with friends and wish to know a few quick things: 1. Is there a ticket for carrying camera/DSLR? 2. If we take bicycles and binoculars, will we be missing on things i.e. due to not having a guide or rickshaw puller with us? 3. What all should we keep in mind so as to not miss on things and/or is rickshaw better option over bicycles. 4. Are there lockers or some similar facility to drop off luggage/bags before visiting the park? Thanks in advance!!
