It is the best place for birdwatching. During winter, you will get to see lot of migratory birds. You may walk inside the park or you may take cycle-rickshaw. Guides are also available. We went with Mr.Brijendra Singh who is associated with BNHS for last 25 year and has excellent knowledge of birds, butterflies & dragonflies. I would suggest that... More

This time of year, there are lot of birds migrated from other parts of India and foreign. It's paradise for bird watchers. Even rickshaw pullers have adequate knowledge about the birds and they provide binoculars on request (Of course they charge for it)

By far one of the best bird sanctuaries in India. Research before you go and read on birds to enjoy the place even more. There are guides and rickshaws available in plenty.. the rickshawalas are enough to guide you around and you do not need the professional guides unless you are upto some research. If you are short on time,... More

We spent a day bird watching at the Bharatpur bird sanctuary but felt we should have stayed overnight in the park and then enjoyed the visit even more. There are lots of birds and other animals to see and worth the trip. Best way is hire a Rickshaw and take a guide with powerful binauculars

A Place which can show you a lot into a bird's life. if you are bird lover and love to see them in nature doing their stuff, go here ... spend a whole day walking with a Binoc or a good zoom lens. you are going to love this place to the core.

If you are not a serious bird watcher, this is not a place for you. I have seen many people highly disappointed after walking 3-4 Km and saying, there is nothing to see. Remember this is not a picnic place that will entertain you. For a birdwatcher, this is a heaven. Many variety of birds can be seen very close... More

Stopping at Keoladeo National Park was a perfect activity on a trip from Agra to Jaipur. Take a rickshaw ride and hire a guide. The park is picturesque and I wasn't disappointed as I had a professional guide, Soran Singh. He was able to spot birds, animals, and reptiles, with his sophisticated telescope. I have great photos as a result.... More
