Lots of birds, some lizards, some water buffalo and antelope (I think). There was a sign on the gate saying that a panther had been spotted in the park. We didn't see it. If you're into bird watching and/or nature photography, this is a worthwhile stop. If not, this activity could be a pass.

It's a typical winter day in Bharatpur, smokes and cold. We went to see the park just because we were so close. Wow! We were pleasantly surprised! All kinds of birds, jackals, bulls and cows. The best of all was the owls and storks! You can rent a bicycle and do a solo tour or rent a rickshaw and the... More

Wow! It was such a treat to see so many kinds of birds everywhere, in their natural habitat, without anyone drawing them out with worms or recordings. We went on the first day with a nature guide (INR 150/hour) and rickshaw driver (INR 100/ hour), and on the second day with a rickshaw driver alone. The nature guide was excellent,... More

Keoladeo national park is really a wonderful place for bird watchers. Diverse range of local & migratory birds are found here. Colonies of hundreds of painted storks, spoonbills, black headed ibis, cormorants, egrets, different herons, almost all varieties of ducks, storks and diff rapters make this place a very prime birding site of India. Saras cranes are the special attractions.

What a wonderful park. Our guide was brilliant and the birds themselves were a joy to see. Remarkable park that is popular and seems very organised and well run.

This formed a part of our trip to ensure 'completeness' of the trip. But once we got in, the children were excited beyond measure. For them this was the best part of the entire trip. Personally I am not a bird watcher, but even I was amazed at the varied species of birds migratory / non migratory thronging to this... More

Our group had an early morning visit to national park as there more birds in the morning and visibility is also nice. Rickshaw pullers were very expert in identification of birds so you do not require a separate guide......

While visiting this sanctuary, i was worried if it's worthy as it was my first ever visit to any sanctuary and i was not sure if i will find birds. But once I was there it was like WOW...heaven, amazing birds, deers, and those old big tortoise make our visit worthy. Birds lovers must visit the place. Sanctuary can be... More
