Though bit of an exaggeration, it is one of the finest place in Tamil Nadu for a walk. You will be in your own world. Avoid Summer noon's. For Romantic purposes prefer dec to feb.

The walk or basically a track along the Ridge is pretty good, your experience may depend a lot on weather if it's chilly then you are lucky as you will enjoy it more as view is not that spectacular.

Coakers walk is located very next to the hotel we stayed at kodaikanal (Villa Retreat)). Infact the entrance was also common to hotel and coakers walk, which bifurcates later once you enter inside. We went out for walk on a fogy day, and as expected we missed most of the beautiful views. Light drizzling also accompanied which made it worse.... More

This was ghe best place in Kodaikanal. In fact, we liked it so much that had a 2nd visit in the same trip. Green valley, captivating horizon and alluring breeze. It's just awesome. Coaker's Walk is one of the most beautiful places to have a bird's eye view of the city. In winters, its completely covered with fog, which makes it a wonderfully romantic place to take a walk into. Blown away into nature, if you're one of those nature lovers, grab a book and go off to this place, and you can... More
