Mandir is quite and peaceful. People are helpful, Don't pay any agent to get the shower from 22 well's holy water. Priority Darshan can be arranged on payment basis inside the temple.

Best to ask hotel to book the car as they are safe and will not fleece you.If you are going only for visiting the Shiva temple at rameswaram, then car will be expensive, best to take cheap mode autorickshaw or cycle rickshaw

there is a possibility of heavy rains during july.
We are planning tour from chennai to rameshwaram via train is two days enough for visiting these places?
