Dhanuskodi beach is very clean and less crowded. Earlier one has to take a four wheel drive vehicle down the backwaters to reach this beach. Recently new road is opened making the beach accessible. Worth the visit.

At tip of the ruins of the Ghost town is the spectacular meeting of the oh-so-calm Indian Ocean & woh-so-playful Bay of Bengal. Pair of eyes are not enough to take in this sight.

You need to get someone known to you to help you get this. Some Govt official would be helpful. You need to get the permissions before you go to Dhanuskodi through the local police station @ Puthu Road/Rameswaram.
