WE are starting to hit the 'full' button on seeing the various Wat's. No disrespect but after awhile they are all starting to blend together. Nonetheless we found this one striking due to the brilliant colours. Glad we saw it despite what is said :-)

There is very interesting temple in Ayutthaya. Here have a lot of beautiful Thai arts and architecture.

Difficult to find as its over the river but its worth a visit. Lovely condition well maintained and not as busy as the Bangkok temples.

The highlights of this place are the ceiling and the ornate exterior. There is also a working crematorium next door.

Situated right by the Chao Phraya river not far from the bridge leading to Wat Chai Wattanaram and opposite of Chedi Suriyothai, this active temple comes as a nice change to its busy and slightly crazy neighbour temple Wat Taka Rong. Most visible - also...More

This active wat or temple is a nice place to spend some times. It's an active center for Buddhist learning and monks reside at the temple. It's free to see and welcoming.
