Nice to see but sad that there tied up.

Today me and my friend went here. Not aware, and to dumb to not look into it before. We spent around 20 minutes before we had enough. After holding the monkeys for around 10 minutes I couldn't do any more. We left and said no to the show. I feel sad and disappointed for how bad the animals are treated.... More

We rode past here and couldn't believe places like this still exist - the monkey's are beaten and treat cruelly to be able to perform for humans. The same for elephant rides. Please do your research before visiting places like these. If you want to see animals and help them, visit Lanta animal welfare, they do amazing work.

Defiantly worth a 10 minute journey from saladan pier and well priced at 250bat (only 3 of us). First off the monkeys are chained although as explained are only trained from 4 years and up due to intelligence. These monkeys locally are trained for the collection of coconuts and is the main reason for the school (explained well and shown... More

That something like this can exist is disturbing. Chained up monkeys who are clearly in distress and fearful of the staff. Training monkeys to parade around on bikes and shoot hoops is not a school! Horrible!

We could not believe that the tuk tuks in the area were openly publicising this as an attraction. It seemed like some visitors from some countries saw no problem in tying up monkeys in this way. It is so cruel and should be shut down.

Like everyone else it seems...unique experience but very depressing to see them tied up apart from each other. Not particularly cheap either so if that was the decider, I would give it a miss....at least until the money is used for a more humane environment.

Went with friends on a day out. Not my cup of tea seeing any type of animal tied up. The monkeys seem to be cared for and my friends enjoyed the show. If you like a animal show then it's average.

Although the owners were friendly and gentle with the monkeys it was sad that they were tied up separately and there didn't seem to be great access to fresh water. The monkeys do sit on your shoulders and arms and the children seemed to enjoy it but I wouldn't recommend going and wouldn't pay the money to go back again.

The monkeys sit on top of your head, shoulder, hands and arms. They try to pickpocket your belongings and untie your shoelaces. Quite a laugh! They are chained, however they seem to be treated well.
