My partner and I visited Koh phangan and didn't want to rent a scooter to see the island so we decided to do this tour instead and it was well worth it.
We were collected from our hostel on time and taken to several of the best places to see on the island. There was free cold water and you can even put your own music on!
We had enough time at each stop and never felt rushed. The guide was very helpful and attentive to the group.
The only downside was the lunch stop, we were taken to a restaurant which was fairly cheap and had a huge menu but I feel because of this they try to cater for too many and so don't really excel at any dish. Most of our group felt the same way having tried various dishes.
Apart from that the tour itself is definitely worth the price and a great alternative to hiring a scooter.

Great trip. Driver very friendly and courteous. Went to a couple of lovely beaches, went snorkeling, climbed a waterfall and went in the water there, went up to the viewpoint. Did not feel like a very long day as some of these trips do

Very cool trip around the island! Brain is super nice, he packed cold water and watermelon for all of us. He’s not pushy, showed us several places - and was always open to suggestions. And best of all, he has a safe driving style!

Booked an English speaking tour however the driver spoke hardly any English, I’m not even sure of his name as he didn’t introduce himself.
The day was basically an expensive taxi ride around the island. The driver would just point in a vague direction, not much guiding, no explanation on what we’re doing, hardly interacted with us, just walked fast ahead and we tried to follow.
Beach we were taken to for snorkeling was not even an appropriate spot to do so, and as it was the second last stop of the tour, not enough daylight to snorkel even if there was anything to see other than shallow sand.
Was disappointing and poor value for money. You can easily just go to any of these places in your own time for free.
View point is nice and the beach club has a really cool vibe, 420 club only good if you can get a beanbag to actually take in the view, however not possible as all the other tour groups from the same company were already there.
Was also very disappointed to see the ‘tour guide’ throw his empty water bottle into the jungle on the viewpoint walk.

We basically went to 2 beaches with a bar in each of them. We could not do snorkeling (which is included in the package). You stay there for 1 hour.
Then you have a lunch at a viewpoint but you have to pay for it (usually lunch is included in these tours).
After that, we went to a waterfall (not that beautiful). We stayed there 30 min.
Last place is a bar at a viewpoint where, once again, you have to pay to have access to the view.
So you basically pay for the guide (who is very nice) who is your taxi of the day. No value added. You could just take a taxi by yourself and go to the beach.

What a great day. We booked this trip because we had no idea of how to get started on this beautiful island. Mingalaba was a terrific choice. The morning started with our driver Mr. Noom handed us bottles of ice cold water and ushered us into his big comfortable car (model forgotten) with terrific a/c. At each stop, Noom explained the basics and let us stay for as long as wanted. I never felt any pressure to move on to the next attraction. It made for a very relaxing, but interesting day. I would recommend this company warmly.

Noon was a great guide. Took us to some beautiful beaches and swimming in a waterfall. Also took us to local silversmith and the best tattoo shops. Quite a character and very chill.

When you are visiting this island this is a must do. You will visit the main spots and there is a lot of time at every spot.

Is it possible to do a private group tour in a songthaew? We are 2 kids and 4 adults staying in Thong Nai Pan in July and We would love a day Tour around the Island in songthaew.

You can coming to koh phangan by ferry lompraya and back to samui by haadrin queen ferry.
