I was really excited to come here but it was SO crowded and SO hot... it was like being trapped on a small tourist island with no exit. The look out is really pretty but it's a tight fit up there. We made it in...More

Beautiful location, but very crowded. A good thing that they do ia not to let you bring in plastic bottles. Stille there is quite a lot of small waste, debris etc. on the beaches. Tip: If you want to go to the view point, go...More

Just WAY too many people unfortunately. But a great spot to snorkel. Viewing point is too crowded and same exact as the picture you see on line, so I'd skip.

As we were staying in Koh Tao we took advice and travelled over later on in the afternoon, arriving for about 2.30pm and staying until it shut at 5pm. The island was busy when we first arrived but it was still beautiful and it quickly...More

We visited this as part of a snorkelling tour and I couldn't recommend it more. The island is the most beautiful place that I have ever been and the view point is out of this world (although you get very sweaty climbing up to it)....More

It is amazing to see how such a touristy island can stay so cute with the massive amount of tourists going there every day. Kudos to the Thai who manage to keep these places specials. Snorkeling in the Japanese garden is just breathtaking. A must...More

I didn't mind paying the 100 baht to get on the island, but the day I was there the thousands of other tourists that were on the island spoilt the experience for me. It was a queue on the boardwalk to get on the island,...More

I've been told early afternoon from the locals on Koh Tao, due to the large numbers or tourist groups that come early morning. However, it may not make to big a difference if it's not busy season and the islands are not... More

Hello. Possible, but price will be high. Better to use 1-day tour or just go be big ship or fast big boat (2-3 times per day) to Koh Tao and there rent a local taxi boat to Koh Nang Yuan (about 300 Baht in both ways)

Flight to Koh Samui (about an hour) and then a ferry to Koh Tao (three hours), then a ferry from Koh Tao (half hour). Certainly not worth it for just a day trip but if you're going to Koh Tao for other reasons, it's nice
