I visited here 5 years ago Feb. At that time it is fantastic. But this time I just look there because of high wave and wind. Koh Nang Yuan is best except December. Actually whole Koh Tao does not good for December.

Beautiful island, good day trip, Fabulous snorkling! Tours take you there for a reason, however it's easy to get a boat taxi for 300 baht for 2 ways and if you go from.3 to 5 you can avoid all the crowds and tour groups and get some even better snorkling because the fished aren't scared by the crowds! would definitely... Coming to this little island was the main highlight of our trip!! The cleanest beach you will ever visit. We did some snorkelling for the first time! The view from the top was just breathtaking. We went to Bali two weeks later and kept comparing it to this beautiful island.A must if you come to this side of the islands.

We went there just for a couple of hours in the afternoon. After reading reviews we were kind of unsure wether we should go or not but are happy we did. We hired our own private longtail from Sairee beach and it cost us THB 500 return in total. Absolutely worth it as you're in total control of the time... More

Overcrowded by rude chinese and russians, and do not eat the buffet, it will propably ruin the rest of your vacation. Most tourists there do not understand the word hygiene. DONT GO THERE!! If you go, do not go by arranged trips, arrange by yourself.

Make sure you have some decent shoes with you as it is quite a climb to the top but very doable! Whilst crowded it was still a great experience and an amazing view. You are not allowed to bring any water etc onto the island which is annoying as you definitely need a drink after but they serve drinks there.... More

This island is owned apparently by the person who owns Chang beer and water, so let that be a reference point. You need to take a longtail boat from Koh Tao or book a tour from Koh Tao or Koh Phangan to visit Koh Nang Yuan. Cheapest way will be a longtail, especially if you have a large group, as... More
