Nothing special

It's nothing special. Just a very big Lampang Rooster. You will find a lot of smaal roosters on everything in this city.

There is a town there that has a bronze statue of a turkey right off the side of the main road going through the town. The town is known for it's... More

Just a not very good stylization of a rooster. Maybe, I just don't get it. Not my " attraction" at all.

it's a tiny statue, is this seriously a tourist attraction? It is near a lovely park where you can jog though

The Lampang rooster may be the biggest cock you'll see.... it is one big chicken! Unusual is cool and the Lampang rooster is cool! Fun to take photos of. Thais love these big statues and you'll see a lot of chicken sculptures in Thailand, but this one is probably the biggest and most interesting. Lampang is definitely proud of its... More

You will find the Lampang chicken on noodle bowls and other crockery all over Thailand. Lampang is famous for its ceramics and the chicken is a symbol of the town and industry. Not really worth going out of your way for unless you're really into roundabout statues but a lovely big chicken nonetheless.
