We did enjoy the unique boat ride to the floating market. This type of markets has been slowly disappeared in Thailand so we had to go so far from Bangkok to here. We didn't buy anything there because there is nothing there we can't get from other markets in Bangkok. We afraid or have no interest in getting any food... More

Came with a local friend on Friday 26th Dec afternoon. It was quiet and rather "peaceful" away from all other tourists. More of a market place for locals. You should try out its popular fruits, duck noodles, deserts etc. There is no entrance fees like Pattaya floating market Baht 200 per person which is unreasonable & scam like. Isnt markets... More

The market isn't very big and is generally on dry land next to the canal. There are some boats tied up at the canal edge cooking food or selling various tat from but its really not worth the trip out here. I did a tour with the World Travel Service here. What a mistake. They stopped at odd places on... More

This tour starts with a bus ride then transfer to a longboat for a trip along the klongs, past temples and waterfront homes, and then to the floating market. It's a busy place, with many stalls along the waterfront as well as vendors selling mainly food from their boats. It's a great day out and well worth it.

I recently went to the Floating Market about 1 1/2 hours outside of Bangkok and was highly disappointed. The visit provided no cultural significance or history. This market is the exact same thing you would see at the Night Market (Patpong) in BKK with street vendors trying to sell you anything and everything under the sun. On top of this,... More

This is a great and colourful market, with some wonderfully cheap finds. Make sure you hire a boat for not more than 100 (a hundred) Bahts (they will ask you for 3000...) and get a "guided" tour of the market. While the market IS a nice place, I'm not sure it's worth the cab drive from Bangkok (time and money),... More

I really enjoyed this trip although it was a good 1.5 hour drive from Bangkok It is full of photo opportunities and the people in the boats and on the stalls are quite happy to let you snap away. The trip also included trips to a place doing elephant rides and a snake show which wasnt made clear in the... More

What an adventure. It is a really neat thing to do and I highly recommend. Of course it is a tourist trap, but a fun one. There are different spots to go and grab a boat and I would suggest you do your research and know exactly where to go to get the cheapest price for a boat. We did... More
