The lodge setting was great on the side of the lake and each room with a balcony overlooking it The staff friendly. Unfortunately it was a long way (approx 1 hour) to get to the gorilla tracking and the food was very disappointing. Good value...More

I can't take enough of this lake--every time i'm in the Kisoro-Bwindi area, I have to visit Lake Mutanda for a canoe trek on the lake waters. In my opinion, mutanda is much beautiful than lake bunyonyi, which is about 2 hrs away.

We went for a walk and a bout tour, the lake landscape is simply stunning!. There are many trails and only a handful of lodges. It is a good place to relax for a couple of days.

We went on a canoe trip on lake Mutanda while on safari with our local tour operator. As part of their package, they also offered an excursion on lake Mutanda, which allowed breathtaking views of the Virungas while moving around in traditional dug-out tree canoes....More

Stayed here with stunning views over the lake. Next day went gorilla trekking. Exhausting but wonderful experience , then back for sundowners at the lodge watching sunset over the lake

We were so lucky to stay in the area and the lake was so peaceful and tranquil. Especially in the morning and evening when the light was perfect and the fishermen were out on their canoes.

Very nice view from hills around, but the roads are very difficult to pass. We have'n been here for a long, but the weather was fine and we were lucky to see all the spectacular views.

Travelled the length of the lake in dug out canoes that had small seats ensuring a reasonable degree of comfort. The lake was beautiful and peaceful with frequent sightings of other boats travelling to market. Sightings of crane and otter enhanced the experience. Highly recommended.
