This is right across street from the main gate of Bukhara fortress. You may enter into the mosque for a quick look. You must wear modest dress and remove your shoes in order to enter. This place is full of history, so would be better...More

Built in 1712 , in front of the Ark citadel in the Registan district . It served before the unification with Bolshevik Russia (1920) as a Friday mosque (main mosque) where the emir of Bukhara came to pray

This must see mosque is a masterpiece of architecture with its wooden pillars in front of it. Beautifully decorated at the outside and even more in the inside. Go there!!

The only surviving building in the Registan, don't miss it. Pretty facade with lots of wooden columns. Interior isn't that exciting but it's free. Don't forget to take your shoes off. This building is opposite the Ark fortress.
