Lovely small building which is now a carpet shop so the outside is really the bit to look at, although you can go inside and up some stairs to the roof but the woman charges a small fee.

Tucked away in between the alleys in a different part of town than the other mayor draws (c. 10 min walk), but worth the effort. Once you're there, you understand why this little building made the cover of the current Central Asia edition of the Lonely Planet.

Worth to be checked out. A bit out of major sightseeing places. Our hotel was close so we actually started our trip from this nice minaret which means 4 minarets

Like many of the buildings of its era, it has been heavily restored. One of the minarets leans showing how what was the nearby water reservoir (now filled in and planted as a garden) undermined the foundation ages ago.

One of the iconic sights of Bukhara, the experience of which is only enhanced by its discovery - it's hidden away in rambling side streets ten minutes out of the centre. There's not much inside other than a decent craft shop, and trips up the tower were off limits when we visited, but it's a must-see if you're in town.

We had a map from our hotel, but had to do a bit of swagging to find this mosque. But since it's one of the icons of Bukhara, and it is quite attractive, it was worth the effort. To me, the iconic picture is from the southwest as you approach on the street. I should have looked at earthview on... More

Beautiful and magnificent place from outside, but nothing special inside. If you look at domes, you will see that each of them is different. Worth visiting, especially with the tour-guide. We ordered one at the hotel.

This small but impressive mosque is surely one of the most beautiful places in Bukhara. While its location is hidden in the small and zigzag area its unique blue dome four minaret towers surely will impress any visitor. It is showcased on Lonely Planet cover guide book and is a Must See in Bukhara.

This stunning building is characterized by its unique 4 domed minarets. Look closely at the top and you will see a tile bearing 1969, the year it was reconstructed. Nice hotels and restaurants nearby offering local fare.
