This was a fun. We left our boat the Brassac, and climbed aboard our little tendor to the noodle making. I eat a lot of noodles, so really wanted to see how it is done. After a short walk, we came across the noodle makers. It was fun and every stage was explained to us and of coarse we all had a very good go at it too.Fascinating.

This was fun observing and participating in the many activities of the factory. The staff was quite friendly and accommodating in letting us do all the various things with rice - making noodles and more. We enjoyed this place.

Very interesting - husks are separated from rice. Ground the rice and made rice flour, added water and made pancake like batter. Very thin crepes were made on skillet and dried for 2-3 hours and then cut into noodles.

This was a great stop on our Mekong delta tour. The rice noodles are made in a very traditional way and it actually surprised us how they were made (not going to give spoilers). You can also get a chance to try make some yourself. There's a good selection of snacks and souvenirs to buy afterwards - our favourite was the fried noodle 'pizza'.

We visit there after Cha Rang tour. You can see how to make rice noodle and you can buy a lot of souvenir (foods, handmafe stuff, drinks, etc). In the neighbourhoud you can eat a really good Pho soup and drink Vietnsmese coffee.

Good as a Part of a Daily Tour

My Friend and I visited this Rice Factory During our Day Tour, it is not a place to plan just for that but to a a part of a Day tour is perfect. to learn new things and traditions. the staff of the factory also involved us in the process of making Rice Noodle which was really interesting. a 20 Min stop would be Good.

Worth seeing just how they use everything.

Visited the rice noodle factory included in the group tour. All the steps were explained to us and we watched as they performed each process. Interesting enough that they use every element from the rice, therefore making the paste to form the noodle, using the ground husks to help fire the heater, the burnt husks they then collect and use as a fertiliser back on the fields so nothing is wasted.
So once the mixed paste is spread on the drum like skin it is then smoothed over before being covered to cook for a very quick period. The the circular shape is scooped up and laid onto a wicker type rack to be placed alongside others into the direct sunlight to dry. Then once dry it is fed through the shredder to form the shape as you will know it today.
It is very quick to see the whole process and the rest of the establishment is given over to a typical tourist type shop for this and other low value goods.
It was interesting to see, but I wouldn’t be mad if I missed it. It completely depends on how your time is running.

Not width having on bucket list

Berry interesting to see how rice noodles are made, but I wouldn't call it a factory. It's more of a small home noodle producer. If it wasn't includes in our tour and k went all that way for that I would be disappointed.

Having seen the rice paper making in Tea Que village, this seemed fairly similar, and in a more elaborate manner. Just a novelty and another item to tick off in the list.
