We decided to do 3 boat rides in Vietnam, Halong Bay, Tam Coc, and Trang An. While I loved them all, I think Trang An was the most picturesque. I recommend taking route 2.

Totally amazing 2 hours trip on boat in the nature. Staff is nice but they dont speak english so it's better to find out information before you go there.

Thoroughly enjoyed the calm, peaceful boat ride and met some awesome people we shared the boat with. The Skull Island where Kong was filmed was added bonus to this tour. So incredible!

It also depends on where your hotel is then we can see the suitable journey. Normally people will combine visiting Bai Dinh temple & Trang An as these places are on the same direction. :).
