This place looks as though it's still being built, there is construction going on everywhere. I was really disappointed with my visit. Didn't even take any photos as nothing was worth taking a photo of. A few tourists turned up while I was there and...More

I was fortunate enough to turn up as a ceremony was just starting. Very interesting and the people were quite happy for me to watch and take photos. Many temples in this part of Vietnam are mistakenly presumed to be Buddhist but they're not. Many...More

The Thai Vi Temple is located 10min by bicycle from the main area in Tam Coc. The temple itself is small, it has a couple of areas and you can visit it in 10min. But the surrounding landscapes are amazing. It's probably a more relaxed...More

The temple itself is nothing to write home about but the surrounding hills and rice fields are stunning. It's not far from Hang Mua so worth doing a quick detour.

If you are out riding, this is a nice path through the rice paddies and away from the road. The temple complex is still under construction so not much to see really. This place is more about the journey than the destination.

I rented a bicycle from my hotel in Tam Coc and cycled out here. It is not far. It is still a work in progress but still worth a 20 minute visit for a few pics.

Thai Vi temple is located 1 km far from Tam Coc harbor, I recommend taking the bicycling trip to this temple. Because it is surrounded by mountains and rice paddy field , this makes Thai Vi temple so special
