I completely agree with our tour guide that Ulun Danu Batur temple is the second most important temple in Bali. It is a sacred Hindu temple, although built in 1926, this temple has not lost its grandeur. It was said that this temple is dedicated...More

This is not a must visit place. you can visit here while going to kintamani or something near. The place was so pricy and i think they'll (people) try to trick you to rent their scarf for high price (it's not worth with what you...More

This is not an old temple. The temple and the village were relocated some time ago after a volcanic eruption of Gunung Batur. Some parts of it are nevertheless authentic. The price is higher than usual because it includes a drink - which you possibly would...More

The structure of temple are impressive no guide prepared and you just go walk inside. The entrance is costly compared with other temples entrances in Bali

Firstly you will need to pay 35k to buy the ticket per person to get in and unlike other temples, there will be ladies who will insist that you pay 50k to borrow a sarong. Real tourist trap. The inside of the temple is similar...More

This temple is NOT the famous one on the lake that you see on all the Bali postcards. The temple on the lake is Pura Ulun Danu Bratan. Don't be confused like I was by reading some of the reviews here on Trip Advisor. Having...More

Firstly, do not confuse this temple with Ulun Danu BRATAN, which is like a Disney park. The other reviewers were right, we were keen to take a trip here after climbing mount Batur and it was worth the trip but.. ..Beware the children and ladies...More
