A quaint dancing display, amid nice surroundings. The artifacts in the small museum are ok to see too. Especially worth it if you are passing at the time of one of the, often, twice daily shows.

It was alright. I mean, we can't really complain that the Batak culture has boring dance moves, so it was nice that at one point they asked the audience to join their dancing. It's a cute experience and my family had fun. Just see it...More

Music and drama was excellent, however it is very hot outside. I believed they still under renovation, because the toilet is not possible to use

Wonderful experience. I learned so much about Batak culture and people. Next door there is a lovely coffee shop run by the daughter-in-law of the last king. Visiting with her in her home was a highlight of our trip

I love the musicians high up in the Batakhouse playing the most wonderful traditional music. The dance is spiritual and supposed to call in the spirits.

I visited this museum on January 2018, I see many heritages of Batak Culture in this museum that are used by the ancestors of Batak Tribe in their activities. The museum is located at Simanindo Village. I only pay 10k. It's cheap price for me...More

A much better traditional dance experience than Sigale Sigale near Toba beach. There's a significant cast of villagers and a real buffalo. A lot of tourists arrive here by tour boat (I rode a motorcycle). There is shaded seating if you get there a little...More
