Dowlat Abad Garden has a lot to offer. It's one of the masterpieces of Iranian architecture and is really beautiful to visit. It's must-see among all the landmarks of Yazd. There I learned the reason Iranians used colorful glasses in the buildings and though it has different reasons, the most interesting one was that they keep the insects away!! Don't... More

A beautiful garden with a nice palace. It is a pity that architects do not know how to draw inspiration from what the ancients knew. The wind tower: what a good idea to refresh a house without consuming energy.

I thought the entrance was expensive (double as much as other attractions) for what the garden is and you get out of it. It us also a bit out if the way.

If you have been to Pink Mosque in Shiraz, then you wouldn't be impressed with their polychrome window. The most interesting part of of this garden is the fact that they have a common room directly below a badgir, showcasing how cool the ancient "air conditioner" works.

Not really worth an effort to go there. It was quite nice but nothing memorable apart from the wind tower which was interesting.

A short taxi ride from the main mosque, the highest wind tower is situated in lush green gardens with plenty of cool shade to enjoy. Whilst the exterior is a little plain, the size and setting makes it very appealing. Cafe available for refreshments with a view. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

A grand house with nice stain glass windows and a beautiful Persian Garden consist of water fountains, trees, flowers and shops. You can sit down and chill a bit from the heat. It is the historical value you are looking at, otherwise I have seen nicer gardens.
