This is my 3rd trip to Tsavo, as usual it never ceases to amaze me how it so majestic and magical it is to see the Animals in their own setting and how differnet it feels to having seen them in a Zoo. I thouroughly reccommend a trip to Tsavo East and Tsavo West, there is so much to see,... More

We were a group of four first timers on safari and I booked through Julius Nzumbi of JT Safaris. I paid a deposit in the UK and the balance at the end of the tour. We also had airport transfer through them (which was much cheaper than the hotel). We had booked a private tour in a 4x4 jeep which... More

We were barely within Sala Gate and we had to stop to spot our first of the big 5 (Water Buffalo) then Ostrich, then Zebra, then Elephants, then Gazelle..............at one point I wondered if we would ever make it to our lodge as we were stopping so frequently! It says something when you see so many giraffe and elephants that... More

Lots to see with contrasting landscapes. There many elephants to see but we were lucky enough to see lions, cheetahs and for the first time for me, honey badgers.

Our driver had a cold and we didn't have a guide so he wasn't keen to do much. We saw some animals but it was by no means overwhelming.

This park being so large you only cover a fraction of it. Saying that we saw over a hundred elephants in half a day. We were lucky to see a pride of lions attacking a buffalo

We did a tsavo east and west safari and the east is very open countryside so easier to see animals, lots of elephants, very magical. Saw also lions, leopard, buffalo, and all the other common animals. There are very few rhino left in the park so don't expect to see these

Loved the amazing landscape and the wonderful diversity of wild life. The Ashnil Aruba Lodge is an excellent place to begin a visit to this wonderful part of the world.
