Our guide Robert was informative, friendly and patient with our questions. The area is refreshingly green. Lots of birds, reptiles, monkeys, hippos. And very interesting knowing that one spring is the water source for all of Mombasa. I wished the walk was longer towards the...More

This short walk takes you to a small area of water, where you may see some hippos. The armed guide was friendly and gave us lots of information. It only takes 30 - 40 minutes and is a fairly flat walk.

I might have missed this, but got some of my best photos here. Beware the monkeys, they can be aggressive.

The springs are in such a beautiful area, we visited during our visit to Tsavo West. Because of crocodiles, however nothing to be afraid of. There are clearly marked walking paths around the springs. This are fed from the Chulu hills nearby

Was an amazing site but just wish had seen more. Felt rushed and and could definitely spent more time there. Still managed to see the hippos and son crocs.
