Whatever I say about the Cedars of God would be too little to describe its majestic scene. I visit the Cedars at least twice a year. If you ski, the slopes in winter are amazing. If you are in Lebanon during the summer months, the walk in the forest, among thousand-year old cedars is heavenly. Absolutely gorgeous. Walk the trail... More

Even just the drive to this special place is amazing, weaving through high peaks and deep valleys with breathtaking views. Everyone in Lebanon knows "The Cedars" and it is revered. You have to pay $1000 Lebanese pounds (about 60cUS) to walk among the cedars which are thousands of years old. There are plenty of souvenir shops in the street near... More

Located in a remote area of Lebanon, this is a must-see site. A walk through the forest to the carved trees and stopping inside the church was a wonderful way to start our vacation. The smell of the forest was intoxicating.

There are so impressive cedars in this small area. Huges and very old. I have enjoyed a wonderful sunset walking over the snow. It is a must to visite in Lebanon. This place is full of history and legends.

Majestic and magnificent, every cedar tree is impressive and holds so much history. Spend as much time as you can inside the reserve, the smell of the trees is a therapy by itself. It's impressive to learn how these trees grow and how old some of them are. Kids adored it as well. Worth every minute.

This small forest of cedar trees is a great place to visit. We were lucky enough to go in winter when the previous night there had been a large snow fall. This coated the trees making them look like a scene from a postcard. The size of some of these trees indicates hundreds of years of age. There are a... More

We took a group tour with the wonderful Nakhal Tour company (well recommended) and it was a two hour journey through the beautiful mountains (2000m above sea level). As we traversed through the snow capped mountains on what was a gorgeous day we arrived at the place where the Cedars of Lebanon lay. In all their glory they were beautiful.... More

Not a large forest, but the trees look beautiful dripping with snow. One is immediately aware of the age of these trees, they are magnificent. Well worth the trip to see this sight.

Everyone says you should go to the cedars, so off we went... expecting a mere group of trees but we were blown away by the reserve. Beautiful natural forest with feeling of remoteness, peace and beauty. Walked up through amazing ancient woods with what looked like living bonsai trees growing out of the rocks. The drive up was incredible with... More
