This was a pretty amazing experience and one we won't forget for a while. Upon approaching the island which is about 40 minutes from Sandakan, you appreciate the remoteness and the efforts the staff go to to assist with the conservation of the green turtle...More

Just do it! We went with Amazing Borneo tours and they delivered an experience we will cherish forever. In addition to the Turtle experience we also got to experience serene beach with crystal clear sea.

We visited here for one night. It was booked months in advance, as my husband had done some research and there is only a maximum of 40 tourists allowed on the island each night. As it happened we were very, very fortunate as there were...More

Highly recommended. It was incredible to see a turtle lay eggs and to also see the tiny ones be released into the sea. It is very apparent that this is an incredibly important and genuine conservation experience. It was fascinating speaking with the researchers and...More

If you want to be assured of seeing Turtles laying eggs and the high likelihood of sending new hatchlings on their way then this is your place. If you intend on snorkeling don't expect anything much. The facilities are fairly basic but you do get...More
