Every North African town has a kasbah, a traditional administrative building made from mud and straw. This one, nestled against the High Atlas Mountains, is among the most impressive of its kind.

We loved the historical areas of Morocco. This one, like many others, has busloads of tourists flocking to it. It makes it hard to get a good pic without people in your photo and it’s hard to absorb the wonder of it all. However, our...More

Definitely worth a visit! Even though it's a popular tourist attraction, it is not very crowded. The road leading to the site is very very good, so it's not an off beat track. We visited before noon. It's so full of history and, besides this,...More

Definitely worth walking. Great view. Prefect for photographing. You may need a guide if you are interested in more than photographing.

Great place, bringing your back centuries ago and you can see how people really leaved. Try to visit early morning or late afternoon unless you are interesting in shopping and crowd. Really good quality small carpets and they have some interesting art.

There aren't a lot of options for food, accommodation or activities in the town in my opinion, so since you have a car I'd recommend a day trip to visit the site. The climb to the top isn't very difficult/long for someone of... More
