This is a relaxing pool with natural spring water. There was a $3USD entry fee per person and lots of room for parking. We spent about 3 hours in the water, swimming and chatting to other tourists. My girlfriend did the rope swing and enjoyed it. The water was the perfect temperature to enter and it got cooler as you... More

I was under the impression that this was some special natural setting....well surprise. Maybe it used to be 10 years ago. Now it is a poor man's version of a pool..150X 60 feet..sand and rock bottom...3-4 feet deep... and walls of concrete and rocks. On a slow day during the off season..30+ people in the "pool". Grounds are kept clean... More

Cool water which might be great on a hot day. I visited on a cloudy and rainy day and this is basically just a swimming pool. With forest around, but definitely not a natural pool. Some teenage boys harassing solo women there. You can easily give this place a miss.

Beautiful setting! The water is a little chilly but it feels so good! It's a must see if you are on the island! It is a great place to relax, swim, and the serve beverages as well.

A beautiful spot in the shades. The water was clear, but coolish. We came on a Sunday, so it was quite busy with local families. but this created a lively atmosphere. There are lockers for valuables. Try the Coco Loco with rum. Entrance $ 3.

I think this place is well known and visited because it seems better to swim in this cement swimming pool than the rough, muddy waters of the lake. For me though, I was hoping to lay down in the sun by the pool, and there were only upright chairs in the shade to sit in. The food looked and smelled... More

Nice pool with a rope swing (be careful, quality is iffy) and slack line over the water. Kids loved it. Very pleasant atmosphere. The drink in a coconut with a rum shot is pretty tasty. The bugs do start to come out later in the afternoon. I wouldn't make a trip to Ometepe just for this but if you are... More

Yes, it is natural spring water, not heated, and artificially made into a pool. Nothing special beyond the ‘Coco Loco’ which is a coconut with its top cut off and some rum shots added. The water was clear and I did not see any trash in it. I could have skipped this location without regret. Safety and Security: Our guide... More

Awesome for a day trip. We were really surprised how quiet it was making it a very tranquil spot to visit.
