I went to the winery tour of this place, it did not give me a vas knowledge about wine making process, just the normal information we have.
The place was nice and clean with Peruvian hospitality.
They offered few different kind of wines to taste which was a good experience

This site gives free pisco tastings. We paid $10 soles for a tour that speaks to the history of the pisco making and the three generations of families that owned the place. Its very interesting to see the vats for storage. We then did a free tasting with Joanne in English, she was hilarious. It was delicious. We enjoyed the commentary and the toasts. We enjoyed a peruvian authentic luncheon with great service and good food. We enjoyed beef in sauce, chicken with onion and rice and potatoes in a cilantro sauce. All delicious! Of course a variety of cocktails to taste.

This was one of the included stops along our Peru Hop route. It was great as we were given a 30 minute guided tour of the winery and later had our first tasting experience of Pisco. We loved it and decided to buy a few bottles for our long journey ahead.

The staff were very friendly and our Peru Hop on board crew, Christian, helped in the entertainment as well.

El Catador is a well known Pisco and wine bodega in Ica. We had a fun tour of the premises to show us how the pisco was distilled, and had a free delicious Pisco tasting. The place is a bit like a small village with a restaurant, little shops selling Pisco, wine, chocolates, “tejas”, ice cream, etc.

While on a day trip, we stopped at two wineries in Ica. This was the 2nd.

We had a lovely lunch at Tacama, which is larger & exports internationally. It was beautifully landscaped, spacious, and picturesque. But, it was pretty crowded, and even though we had no problem getting in for lunch, we would have had to wait another hour for a tour. We didn't have the time, so our guide took us to Catador.

Catador was much smaller, but had character. The staff were friendly and fun, and we were pleased with the tour & tasting. I was disappointed, though, that they only had sweet wines. Just a couple of sweet wines, a couple of liquors, and pisco.

This bodega offers a free tour of 30 mins that included a tasting (small shots) of some Pisco, creams of Pisco and sours.
We had a English guide.
We went by taxi from the bodega Tacama (12 soles). They are a lot of taxis and collectivos passing by, so it's really easy to get one.

The guide made us visit the winery where he showed us how they make their different wines still in a artisanal way. After that we did a tasting. He did his best with talking english and amused us a lot with his jokes. Recommend !

We ended up here as our flight over the Nazca lines was delayed plus when we saw the sand dunes and all the crowdedness around we said no to sand boarding so our guide propose to us to have some wine tasting.

We had a lady who took us around the area to show us quickly around the area for the Pisco process which took around 15 minutes or so. Then we came back and had a quick Pisco and wine tasting. Didn't like the wines much however the Pisco's were quite nice and ended up buying also a few small bottles to take home as gifts.

The prices are a bit high if you consider the small bottles and the volume they have but then again you are not coming every day. Also good thing is that you can pay in USD if you don't have left any local money.

Overall a nice experience if you are in the area and have some time to spare but wouldn't recommend it as a must. Not fully 4 stars but not 3 so in between if Tripadvisor would have this option.

I stopped by here as part of my tour through Peru and I am glad that I did.
It is a good tour through a pisco distillery and it also doesn't take very long either. My guide genuinely loved her job and was really enthusiastic about it.
At the end of the tour we got to sample different types of pisco , there was around 9 flavours. There is also a Gellato shop onsite which sells nice flavours and a good way to cool down.
