A strange monastery, not very caretaked and, above all, very dark. Even the inner courtyard is not very well cared for. In conclusion - there are another more interesting things to see in Suceava. I do not recommend it!

We took a day tour of the region and visisted 4 monasteries. All were well worth seeing, and not like anything we had seen before. Bucovina and Maramures should be included on anyone who wants to see the best sites of Romania.

If you get to any one of these before the tour bus crowds you will have a better experience. I think there are 8 in total and all part of a UNESCO site.
