It’s an old ruined fortress with a great view however no effort has been made to preserve it, or keep it free of litter. There was broken glass suggesting a car window had been smashed. It’s ok if you’re passing for a quick visit and photo of Budva Old Town. Would be better if there were some information boards explaining it’s history. I didn’t want to linger and wouldn’t ha e felt safe after dark. So disappointing.

It was once a fortress, however now it is just the ruins. There is a short dirt track off the main road to get to it. Watch out for the brown sign as its not obvious where you need to turn. Once there, there is no dedicated parking – just park up where you can. It is not maintained in any way. If you visit here watch very carefully where you are walking. There was a hole in the ground which had no barrier around it. If you fell down the hole, the drop was about 12 feet. However the place does offer great views across to old town Budva, so a good place to take a few photos. Don’t expect to learn anything here either. There is no information about the fort or its history. Visit here to get some lovely photos of the views, but nothing else.
