If you are in Cetinje then it's a must see. The Monastery is pretty important in terms of Montenegrin religious and historical cultural value and although access is just to a small chapel, it is afterall a functioning Orthodox monastery and free. The beautifully colourful...More

Unless you make advanced reservations to be vetted for security reasons, only the small chapel (which is fantastic) and the smaller baptismal area that has wall and ceiling murals (which are wonderful) are open to tourists.

This is a functioning monastery. Very little is open to the public. On the other hand, it is free. Scarves are provided for scantily clad.
