It is one of my favorite monasteries in Montenegro, it is located in a cave and we'd never find this place without our guide. When we came baptism was taking place there and we were amazed at how gorgeous is this ritual in Orthodox Church. The place is surrounded by pine trees and looks so peaceful.

This monastery on the secret place in a cave is just few kilometers away from Podgorica, the Capital of Montenegro. One doesn't expect to meet that on the road to Podgorica Airport. Very interesting!

A beautiful, quiet, well-groomed and peaceful place. The monastery was founded
in 1897 by monk Savva
Popovich (1854–1941), who
ry later became a saint
Simeon Daibabsky, on me-
ste of your wonderful vision.
The monastery is carved into the rock,
has a small pe- system
gap in the form of a cross and underground
ny source of water. Long before
foundation of the monastery, in the 3rd century,
they hid in caves from persecution
the first Christians. In Uspenskaya
churches keep the relics of the saint
Simeon. Wall frescoes have been preserved inside the caves. There is also a store on the territory of the monastery.
The Daybab Monastery is located literally a couple of kilometers from Podgorica. From the monastery on the hill
offers views of the mountains and mo-
re.

Unfortunately, you will look in vain for peace and a meditative atmosphere here. From the monastery you can see an industrial area, and the journey there is not nice either. I would not go there again
