Experience, lord Ganesha protects you. This is a place for worship, you have to stop and pray. Please pray to Lord Ganesha, take a coconut and smash it for protection!

The place is in Kilinochchi. About 10 Km away from the town. If you are not a Hindu, there is nothing much to look here. But for anyone who believe in god Murugan, this is a super place which believe to have super powers. Have some boutique shops to buy Tamil dry foods and they are pretty good as well

A little temple just before entering elephant pass. Drivers usually stop here to pray. Simple temple which receives lots of donations. Was told the collection from the undial was used to help the people affected by the war.

One place all stop travelling in or out of Jaffna for blessing. Even express trains stop and why not you and get blessed.

A popular hindu temple with so many folk tales regarding how it came about to being built. Hindu & Buddhists pilgrims all stop by to pay their respect. Be appropriately dressed as a mark of respect to Hinduism.

You will not miss this shrine on the road to Jaffna , as you approach Kilinochchi -- everyone stops here to pay their respects and the area was full of people and vehicles when we went there. It is a holy place. According to legend, a holy man who died and was buried by a group of workers looking for... More

Once upon a time it was a nice shrine and famous place. Now it is not that so. Because of the road developpment authority bypassed the temple and may be political and religious influence on it. Now the holiness is not there. I felt that when I visit last time. It was a very busy place once upon a time.
