Very peaceful location a short distance from the Scared Tooth Temple. Be sure to get the guided tour from the caretaker to appreciate the history. He is very interesting and pleasant to listen to.

This was an interesting but melancholy spot. Well cared for, with a new fence to keep out the wild boar thanks to Prince Charles! The caretaker and his son are good storytellers.

This is a real hidden treasure obviously missed by most travellers. The cemetery manager, Charles, can tell you the history of everybody buried here. A great relic of the Empire.

We had a memorable visit to the cemetery and the caretaker made it extra memorable walking around giving us stories behind the headstones. Gives an insight into early British arrival in Sri Lanka. Very close to Temple of Tooth Relic.

Hi, I am not very sure which is the British Military Garrison you are referring to. I guess it goes by the name of 'Commonwealth War Graves Commission'. If yes the distance would be 6.8km. Please find the location... More
