From bahiravokanda vihara budda statue, from top you can also over view the kandy town, but you need to remove your shoes to enter the place.

A beautiful statue and yes you can see a Buddha statue in any Buddhist country but it's all part of the experience.

Entrance-Fee is 250 rupie - also a donation to keep an eye for your shoes is needed. You can walk to the top behind the buddha figure.

No it isn't. They charge you 200 rupees to get in, as well as more money to look after your shoes! whilst I was there they followed me around asking me for more money in the form of donations.
