we firs wanted to skip this side but then decided to go since the entrance was 250 rupees only, The view over Kandy and sourrounding mountains from here is amazing! :) we loved it and we even got o withes a small pooja ceremony

One of the must do's in Kandy city, 10 minutes Tuk Tuk ride from downtown, you can climb up, great views of the lake.

The view if the Buddha is great. And the view if the city Kandy is spectacular from the Buddha. Entry is 250R and you can climb almost to the top for a great view!

Best view in Kandy, as you can climb up the Statue. Beautiful Temple on the inside. Entryfee 200 Rs for 2 persons.

Take a tuk up there which will cost you around 200 one way, it's a steep climb so braise yourself. the temple itself is small, i suggest you visit this temple around 6 pm as you still do has some semblance of sunlight to soak...More

Fabulous view to Kandy city center, you can get there by car. If you want to you can donate some rupees in the office for donation.

No it isn't. They charge you 200 rupees to get in, as well as more money to look after your shoes! whilst I was there they followed me around asking me for more money in the form of donations.
