Well worth the tuk tuk ride out of Kandy. A beautiful spot and real insight into the history of tea and how it is made.

It was a nice visit. Nothing too spectacular but still worthwhile. Website and travel book info is slightly outdated: Admission: Rs 800 Opening hrs: Tue-Sat 8:30 to 15:30h Good 10min Tuk Tuk drive from center

Sorry, I have the same answer as above. News to me. Try going to a tea plantation/processing centre. There is one in Haputale, man.
