This is the bus stop if you ride from Bocas Town. You can also hire a water taxi and ride around the south side of the island to this area. Plenty of beer stands and snacks. Calm clear waters and white sand with views of the Panama mainland.

Starfish was a wall-to-wall Panamanian party on the holiday weekend. Asked where to get a cab to town and walked the 30 minutes to Bocas del Drago. The restaurant was perfect...on the beach, snapper on the grill with fixins for 2-$15. Excellent!! Lovely stretch of beach, and a two dollar bus ride back to town (forget the $20 pp. cabs)... More

The tourist activity in this area have made life for the Starfish impossible. Five years ago here were thousands, now there are a couple of dozen on a good day. Hundreds of people swarm the beach with little or no proper toilets. People handling the few that are left only make the remaining few die or flee to deeper water.

We took a boat around to Starfish Beach and it was packed!! Normally it's a popular beach to visit (for both locals and tourists alike) but we visited during a holiday in Panama and found an amazing number of boats docked on the beach. Not many starfish to speak of for this reason, but a totally different kinds of fun.... More

Beautiful beach with calm waters. Drinks and food services were available. We understood from a local that there used to be 100's of starfish, but as the beach got more popular and more people were in the water, the food supply diminished and the starfish left. We only saw a half dozen or so.

Amazing beach. The definition of a tropical beach paradise. White sand. Crystal clear water. Palm tree. Small bars serving cocktails. Hopefully this place will not change.

Great place for getting some relaxing done by the beach. The bus from Bocas del Toro is 5$ for a return ticket.

This is truly one of the most beautiful places I have visited, the nature is amazing, you will feel like in the desert island:) In the water you can see a lot of starfishes, just don't pull them out of the water because they die immediately:(:( You can go in the morning and return in the afternoon, there are buses that go every...
