Welcome to Scuba 6 Eco Diving and our little corner of paradise.

Specializing in small groups allows us to do things differently. First, we offer high quality personalized service and cater to the client’s individual needs. Our extra-long bottom times, one-of-a-kind dive briefings and our unique and innovative way of guiding the dives have earned us the reputation of offering the best dive experiences in Bocas del Toro. When it comes to dive training, we make an extra effort to help students attain a higher level of skills and confidence than normally achieved. That’s the difference passion makes.

We are the only dive operation in Panama to offer eco diving and citizen scientist programs that show divers how to collect scientific data that marine biologists and foundations will use to help protect the marine environment this in turn makes your dives even more fun. We also apply sustainable business practices and continuously strive to leave less of a footprint.

Michel is co-owner and a PADI Course Director with a stellar reputation and over 25 years dive experience. Ginette is co-owner, a PADI instructor with over 20 years dive experience - her passion is coral reef ecology. All team members are trained in eco diving and sustainable practices.

Come dive with us and find out first hand why so many people make us their number one choice.

I did my Rescue Course and (to prepare) DAN CPR here. We were only two people in the course and therefore had an optimal learning experience. Michel taught us CPR and Glen did the Rescue course. The Rescue is 4-days long which gives you more time for the skills and a lot of fun diving as well. It is the... More

I recently took my PADI Rescue Diver Course with Scuba 6 and had the best experience! The whole team were fantastic - great teachers and really fun to dive with! I was taken to some awesome dive sites and had excellent equipment that was very new and in great condition. Ginette especially has a big focus on Eco diving and... More

It was my first diving experience and it was awesome. I did my Open Water Diver there. We were just 4 People in the Group so everybody got a lot of Attention. The Equipment fitted perfect. Only for our diving instructor Glen i would give 5 Stars! He was always Patient, funny and helpful. Just a great Instructor!

I found this place because they were listed on Mission Blue as a green leader. In fact they have received an award for it and they maintain it by montioring their carbon footprint carefully. We came to Bastimentos because of Scuba6. Globally so many of our beautiful diving spots are disappearing and that creates the dilemma of whether diving trips... More

We made a fun-dive a bit outside of Bastimentos. Before the dive Ginette gave us very interesting information about the reef, the corals and the biodiversity. This dive-school takes the word ECO for right. The material was impeccable (unfortunatly they don't rent dive computers). Glen, our divemaster, showed us the beauty of two carribean dive spots, he was very helpful.... More

Michel and Ginette are the very caring owners. they are focused on safety, fun, ecology and customer service all in first priority! Michel is one of the calmest divers I know and will make sure you get a full hour underwater every time (unless you run out of air). Ginette knows everything about the marine life around, and will happily... More

I did my Advanced Open Water Certification with them and I couldn't have chosen any better place to do it. Michel and his wife don't do this like a business but because they love it and they want to share all their knowledge, and you can just feel it from the first moment. The people working with them are also... More

Top quality and maintained gear, great instructors and divemasters for starters. The center was still more than that. First of all there were only 6 persons on a boat which meant that every 2 or 3 diver got their own staff member. The owners were passionate about diving and marine life protection and I learned so much new about the... More
