It is spacious and easy to navigate. There are electric cars available at reasonable cost to roam around longer distances. Collection of animals is good, some animals were inside and not visible. Nice place for a family outing and some learning for the young kids.

Unfortunately we went to this zoo during the dry season. It was hot and dusty. Therefore, few of the animals were unseen. They were inside. The only mode of transportation is your feet so be prepared for a lot of walking.

The Delhi zoo has recently witnessed the birth of a hippo which is now the major tourist attraction. This place is suitable for kids and adults and one can go around in the battery operated vehicle also.
