The entire Explore India Trip was impeccably planned and executed from start to finish. Explore India took care of everything in the planning and preparation, to the smallest detail, with warmth and patience. Upon arrival in India, the sites, people and experiences were unforgettable, amazing, wonderful, exquisite, and a pure joy. The itinerary was expertly planned to allow us to comfortably and safely see as much as possible in a relatively small amount of time, without overwhelming or exhausting us. The staff were impeccably professional, accommodating, amazingly knowledgeable and an absolute joy. The sites selection and custom additions were beyond our expectations. We felt inspired, completely safe and taken care of throughout (and contrary to popular expectation, nobody got sick!). Quite simply, this was a luxury trip of a lifetime, and I am so grateful. I cannot recommend Explore India highly enough! India (and Nepal, which was on our itinerary along with a Varanasi add-on) were so, so rich- in history, color, beauty, culture, culinary arts, religion, and of course, the people. We were so spoiled I now don’t want to travel anywhere exotic again without Explore India! This trip was really a ‘cut above’, and for everyone who likes to travel and explore the world, India (by Explore India) should be on the bucket list, not to be missed! You won’t go wrong with Explore India. Worth every penny!

With grateful hearts, four of us have returned from a very magical trip to Morocco all arranged through Explore India Inc. It was perfect. Abdul, our guide was one of the very best we’ve ever experienced. He could not do enough for us every step of the way. He was charming, knowledgeable, helpful, beyond our hopes and dreams. Our driver too was an excellent driver and always there for us through 2700 miles. Both took us to Rick’s Cafe for our final night which was far and beyond the call where everyone sang happy birthday to me marking my 70th year!
All four of us will speak of the quality of Explore India Travels. We went to India with them before Covid and now Morocco.
The hotels were the very best- even the tent in the desert. Thanks to EXPLORE INDIA for the first class planning that made it all happen.

India…Unfathomable in its complexity…Explore India’s team deftly demystifies the practical (airports, security, checkins, flights etc) while still preserving the mysterious and wonders that define travelling in this chaotic yet euphonious magical land…Over a 40-year span this was our 7th time to India…It was our first time with Explore India which was recommended by a friend who described the Explore India experience as “flawless” — not a word often associated with travelling in India! … Explore India’s president, Nazir Karnai, came to our house in N. Vancouver to discuss what our expectations were…His experience, instincts and ‘bedside manner’ instantly meshed to tell us we could “do business with this man…” Mr. Karnai presented us with a month-long bespoke itinerary that ticked every one of our must-do boxes, including taking the occasional couple of “days off” to lounge around the grounds and orchards of the boutique hotels and converted colonial mansions we stayed at…Many reviewers speak of Explore India’s on-the-ground teams “exceeding expectations” — we wholeheartedly echo these sentiments…Every team member bent over backward to make our odyssey spectacular…they all had the knack of making us feel like members of their own families…EI’s professional guides do not “toe-the-company-line” — they are candid in their conversations and freely offer up strong opinions when asked…Our journey included (but was not limited to) Kashmir, Sikkim, West Bengal, Nepal…Some of the twisting, cliffside roads we took risked bringing on cardiac arrest — but EI’s drivers were all experienced and unflappable…At no point did we feel unsafe on the roads or walking the streets and markets off-the-beaten path with EI’s crew…Nazir Karnai is a master of his craft and his selection of his team means, to use a cricketing term, you are always “in a safe pair of hands…” We are already dreaming about trip number eight — the planning and execution will be helmed by Nazir Karnai and his unrivalled colleagues at Explore India…

We took a wonderful group trip with Explore India in 2017, spending a week in Nepal and two weeks in northern India. We decided to visit the South and Mumbai for our second trip (April 23) and asked Nazir and his team to customize it for us. They did a spectacular job of coming up with exactly the things we wanted to see and do - and at our own pace. We were assigned a driver for our two weeks in the South who was exactly right for us, always responsive but never interfering. The sights we saw and especially the many beautiful people we met in India will live on forever in our memories. While there, we received a number of phone calls checking to make sure that everything was going smoothly. We felt extremely well looked after and totally secure for the entire time. We both highly recommend Explore India - you can't go wrong! Our sincere thanks to Nazir and his competent team. Wyley and Sanjay

This company, as Explore World Journeys, also runs tours to other parts of the world. We joined a Portugal Tour with this group: what a great trip! This tour group is marvellous. They understand their clientele and are very patient with all the inevitable quirks that come up, like my husband’s peculiar dietary problems. Their tour hit several highlights we really wanted to see, and the ones we decided to ‘just go along on’, turned out to be very interesting also. So, in summary, their tours lead you to things you didn’t think you’d like, but do, and things you are fascinated by. The winery tour in the Douro Valley was fabulous—learned lots, tasted some fabulous wine and port, and had a marvellous picnic meal in the garden by the vines. What a great experience! Loved the boat trips, two of them, too. Such interesting photos you get from that viewpoint.
Our guide was both friendly and very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed her and would travel with her again, if possible. Everything worked as it should, timing was well apportioned for the various events and experiences. We really enjoyed everything about the trip. Looking for another one to go on next!

We had a fantastic customised private India tour with Explore India in January 2023. Everyone we dealt with from the company in Vancouver, and everyone we met in India were extremely professional, kind, friendly and very helpful. Our tour from the beginning to the end was so smooth and enjoyable, very well organised. All the accommodations, transportation, sightseeing were wonderful. Special thanks to Nazir and Mandira, we definitely will book our tours with you again.

carry a roll of toilet paper on your excursions .the trip was awesome , guides were great and most people spoke English . be ready for major security at airports and train stations. the hotels were 4 and 5 star . the food was fair to good.

We would like to thank the expert team at Explore India for an amazing, over the top experience, exploring the beautiful country of India. Nazir and Lana from the Vancouver office who planned our trip - you two were terrific to work with. The entire trip was immaculately planned and first class all the way! To the team in India, with Rajeev, our driver and guides, thank you so much for showing us your country and letting us be immersed in your culture, food, and hospitality. You were all so kind and friendly, it was so over the top and exceptional. All our guides from Dehli, Agra, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Varanasi and Mumbai were exceptional, with vast knowledge of history and the area we were touring. So many highlights on our trip that we will remember for the rest of our lives. It was evident that it was incredibly important to Nazir and his team we were happy with all aspect of our trip and our experiences were above expectations! Thank you Explore India for making this such a memorable trip.

Explore India delivered on an amazing trip to India. It was our first visit which included the North and South. Our guides and drivers were fantastic and reliable. Each hotel was more beautiful than the the next. The sights were fantastic. Varanasi was mystical and eye opening. The Taj Mahal was magnificent and truly one of the wonders of the world. I learned so much about Buddhism, Hinduism and Jain. Would highly recommend Nazir and his team to put together your tour of India. They customized to suit our needs.

In February,2023, my husband and ,. with another couple were n a cruise ship, which had ports in Mumbai, Goa, Mangalore and Cochin. Rather than taking the ship's excursions, we had Nazir ( from Explore India Vancouver, Canada office ) organize a private tour-which exceeded our expectations. We were taken to sites and experiences that the ordinary tourist would not have.
A special thanks to Rajeev, the India representative of Explore India, who efficiently
organized all transfers and excellent guides.
Also, in 2018, our same group used Explore India for an incredible 22 day trip of India.--again absolutely fantastic service ,from all local guides, drivers and hotels. Rajeev kindly checked in on us daily-- special kudos to him.

Because we travel a lot, we are vaccinated for everything, just to be safe. When we were in India recently, we started probiotics a week before and during our visit. No street food!
