the place still has that old world charm...the houses in the by lanes are still reminiscent of the old architecture...the place is crowded throughout the day...it has a no. of shops of hardware...wedding cards etc;..
the place has a lot of iconic places to eat such as kuremal...ashok chaat..shakahari restaurant...heera lal kulle wala...jain coffee house ...shyam sweets and a lot more...it has a book market near by as well called the nai sarak...

After 100 metres away from the chawri bazar metro station this market is located. In the evening this is full of people.

Chawri Bazaar used to offer good spices and wholesale nuts. It is congested and crowded but no longer offers a unique cultural experience if you are looking for it as a foreign tourist.

This is a nice place to shop and dine. Lot of small food outlets who prepare and serve hot the local dishes from many places
