You should be ashamed to forget your Indian culture by living in India.
You stop the wearers of sarees and allow those who wear jeans skirts wow what a good thoughtful.Bad thinking and bad people working in that mall👎👎

Dumbos who do not know Indian Culture deserve far worse rating. Saree is an Indian Traditional dress. Get out of India, if you have to keep up to your nonsense

Very good sports store spread over 2 floors. Has items pertaining to 50 sports. Practically no name it and it has it. Very good quality at reasonable price. A must visit for sport persons.

Most Beautiful among 1st malls in Delhi with ample space outside for conducting events. Difficult to beat with new malls. Good for people staying nearby. No crowd.

Ansal Plaza was the first proper mall to open in South Delhi, and for several years my husband and I went there frequently, mostly just to eat at one of its many restaurants. Then, some years back, we found that it had closed for renovation.

Well, Ansal Plaza has been open now for a while (probably a couple of years?) and we decided it was high time we went and saw how it was.

The mall is a very basic structure: a sort of semi-circle, the stores and offices (yes, it has several offices here too) spread across three floors. No confusing branchings off, no complicated structures: you walk from one end to the other, then go up a floor and walk again to the end, and so on. The two wings of the mall are not connected, so you have to go out into the amphitheatre and cross it to enter the other wing.

Ansal Plaza’s stores are mainly restaurants and bars and pubs, of which there are many different kinds, catering to different palates: among the more interesting (for us, who like Asian food) are Jom Jom Malay (Malaysian food), Kofuku (Japanese) and Seoul (naturally, Korean). There is an Imperfecto, a McDonald’s, and several other restaurants. Oddly enough, the one thing that’s missing is a coffee shop—there’s not even a very basic Café Coffee Day here.

The shopping, in comparison, is limited. True, there’s an Apple store, a Meena Bazaar, and a Decathlon here (among others), but the food is what really makes this mall. Come here more for the food and drink, less for exciting shopping.

A word about the facilities: the basement parking, while large enough to cater to the mall (which isn’t very popular, so doesn’t seem to have too many visitors), isn’t a pleasant place. It’s dingy, and we saw lots of peeling plaster and paint and dripping water in places. I would sooner park outdoors than down in the basement.

Also, I visited the ladies’ rest room in the mall, and found it smelling of sharp chemicals. In addition, it was poorly designed—no place, for instance, to hang a dupatta or shawl or place a bag.

The mall shopping here has dipped( since newer places have opened). But the large ampitheatre can still easily host large events and promotions due to its open space. Attended a musical event here yesterday with over 400 bikers, volunteers plus audience in an MSSI-Thor MS awareness function.

Mall being old has an extremely worn out look and has slowly developed into a food hub. Visited Kaama for lunch. Restaurant is more a night place though ambience is quite interesting. Food was A1. Portions could be better. Though service was quite slow but that suited us fine as we wanted to have an extended lunch. Saw many foreigner groups having meals there so it has made a name for itself. Must visit in the night next time a I am sure place would be rocking then
