This architectural wonder looks like an enormous lotus blossom, reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House. Too bad the interior isn't even worth a look.

We didn't get to go in, the line was amazingly long. It is worth a drive by just to see how amazing this place is.

This temple is free entry and was nice to see but the attraction is outside, with a basic inside which has chairs for you to pray if you wish. The grounds leading to the temple are well kept and it's a nice walk up. When you get to the temple the security guards give you a bag for your shoes,... More

Lotus Temple is the place where you can surround yourself in the middle of great craft, good place to visit with family, best time to visit is between August to May, rest are months which are hot in Delhi.

There's a sense of reverence about the place and it's absolutely gorgeous. For a religious building it lacks any overt symbols of faith and it's free for any to come and silently worship regardless of their religion. Or you can come and just appreciate the architectural beauty of the place.

Arrived right as the gates opened at 0900. Worth it to be there early so shorter line waiting to enter the temple. Short stroll to the temple entrance. No charge. They provided bag for you to take off and carry your shoes. Gardens were not as nice as the Baha'i Temple in Haifa Israel, but we not only enjoyed being... More
