This place was always in my list for my first Delhi visit. It turned out to be opposite. Highly crowded and surrounded by local food stalls. The structure itself is beautiful but losing out on points due to overall aura.

This place always overwhelms oneself...every time you go there. Visiting it in the morning leaves you with freshness of the dawn and night visit mesmerizes with light. The very fact, it is a memorial for the Indian soldiers drives respect and pride in you.

The India gate was on our driving tour list. It didn’t seem worth stopping and we say it from a few blocks away as we were driving.

Simply wow. The moment you see it you start feeling what you miss by not being in Indian army. A true monument for those who lost their lives for country.
