This monument of national importance requires more attention. Poorly maintained surroundings with garbage strewn all over the place because of street food sellers who have set up their stalls wherever there is some space. There is no SWATCHH BARATH activities happening here!

Its a national monument which all the Indians must be proud of. India gate is a well maintained monument, a nice place to be hangout with family . Best time to visit here is at the evening. A great historical place.

Take metro from new Delhi metro station to Central Secretariat Metro station. And walk for 1 km on rajphath from there. And you will reach your destination
