This is the road from President house to India gate. Road is very well maintained. Every year on 15th Aug and 26 Jan parade take place. Other than these 2 days there are nothing much to see there.

The view on the Rajpath is really nice, you pass by the road used on parades. The view of the India Gate and the Rashtrapati Bhawan and the Parliament make it worth a visit. If you visit at night or late evening you can the nice fountains on the sides.

Each time I go by Rajpath and especially the Vijay Chowk area I am just so mesmerised by the feel of Majesty and Pride. The whole drive from around the Secretariat buildings, with the awe inspiring Rashtrapati Bhavan in the back drop, down to the drive to india Gate on Raj Path is absolutely regal, and has a ceremonial feel...
